Best company ive had the pleasure of hiring during a moment of stress! After multiple failed attempts to look for an honest, trustworthy company to come and provide us with a bid, we finally reached out to Black Ops. We had water damage and had been told multiple times by different companies that the area was contaminated and had mold and needed to be removed asap in order to prevent secondary damage, however most companies would say they’d only able to do the water damage restoration or others would say that they’re only able to do drywall finish repairs and vice versa and I would have to gather bids for the rest of the work myself or that they can gather bids for me but it would be more expensive of course because i’d be hiring 2 companies with their own prices which was very stressful as a property owner to hear because you’re not sure what the next best step is. None of the previous companies we asked for a bid from made us feel like we can trust that they actually knew what they were doing so I always thought I would have to pay twice the price and hire two different companies, because it was what I was told by multiple different people that I had reached out to. Thank goodness that I like to shop around because I was recommended by a friend to reach out to Black ops drywall because they’re certified to treat water damage, so she knew that they were also licensed to do the all drywall repair work which is what we needed. We can’t begin to explain how happy we are that we got in contact with Black Ops!! We asked them to come and take a look because we were told they were certified in water restoration as well as drywall finishes and etc which they confirmed & we have received many other bids, but they won our trust. The price is around the average if not less than what other licensed contractors charged but the difference is that they actually took care of the entire project and not just half of it, so it was actually cheaper than all other bids, they also made us feel like a priority. A lot of people who provided us bids were not pleasant to be around or didn’t have any or much pictures of their previous work which was a red flag to us. Black Ops employees are people I genuinely enjoyed having, also, they do free estimations. Don’t get scammed by other companies like I have, i’ve paid up to $50 for an estimation from other companies due to the fact that I live in Yosemite CA and my house is further up inside the mountains and we don’t have many local licensed contractors which added on to our stress because a lot of companies charged us just to get to our location, however, black ops is the opposite; I had actually seen some of the company trucks driving around town a few times before and had googled them and saw that they were #1 for drywall companies in the area which led me to believe they’d be the most expensive which is why I attempted to look for other bids prior to reaching out to them, also because the business page I had seen at first said that they were located in Modesto and since that’s almost 2 and a half hours far away from us we assumed they would charge more than other contractors, we assumed that they would charge us just to come down to our house for an estimation like the others did but they didn't, I was pleasantly surprised when I was told that they do free estimations regardless of the location and that they also had an office in Mariposa CA which is also the same company both in Modesto where I had originally seen the location for the company, and Mariposa. Its good to shop around, just be aware that Black Ops will always be the best choice. That’s why they’re #1. Regardless if their bid is higher, it’s better to pay a little bit more and have everything done correctly rather than dealing with the headache of hiring a cheaper company who can’t do the job right and will still charge you double to repair their own mistakes! Black Ops Drywall is the one and only drywall company I will EVER use, they’re the best in the business and their work shows it, this is one of the few times I go out of my way to review a company but they truly outdid themselves and went above and beyond our standards, we had all the drywall ripped off from the ceiling and all around our living room and kitchen area and had them do repairs all over the house before our move in date and they drove 2 hours everyday just to come to us and get it done and were never even late despite the long drive! The minute I contacted them I knew I was in good hands, they are worth every penny and It’s safe to say that i’ll be contacting them again for all of my future drywall projects and will definitely be recommending them to everyone I know. Also they’re such kind and respectful people, it was a pleasure having them around. Our ceiling had a leak during the heavy rain, another company came to take the drywall out then black ops came to do the repair & got it painted. Honestly, it looks so much better than what it was originally. Their work is amazing, professional & took their time to make sure it’s done properly!
